Where will you be working as Program Management Officer?

The Program Management Officer (PMO) role will report hierarchical to the Head of Business Support CEP and in the matrix program organisation to the Director Program New Pension Regulation. The program team is a multidisciplinary team of process specialists and business experts, who conjointly will realise the program deliverables. The most important deliverable is to successfully help to manage CACEIS clients to implement their desired operating model in relation to their new pension contract, including the operational readiness and skillsets for the “run”-teams.

What will your tasks and responsibilities be as Program Management Officer?

The responsibilities of the PMO include managing, monitoring and supporting the day-to-day activities in the running project portfolio, providing guidance on program/project policies and processes, overseeing project management staff, budgets and project progress.

Furthermore, you will be (amongst others) responsible for:

Interact constantly with all the stakeholders of the program (program director, steering committee, executive committee NL, CACEIS group, project stream leads, department and resource managers).
Setting deadlines within the program, prioritizing tasks, and assigning team members to various deliverables and identifying potential (inter)dependencies.
Providing support to Program Director and/or Executive stakeholders by gathering and analysing all relevant program data for reports.
Create management information and status updates for the program/project stakeholders meetings (including project budgets, risks, and resource allocation).
Plan, prepare, and track decisions of CACEIS project committees and steering committees. Organise and coordinates these committees together with the program director.
Drafting new and improving specific CACEIS NL project guidelines and reporting templates.
Retrospective lessons learned sessions for each project phase.

What qualifications do you need to work as Program Management Officer?To be successful as a PMO you should demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills. Ultimately, you should be well organized, able to work under pressure and work closely together with stakeholders, executives, stream leads and project participants.Furthermore the PMO will have the following requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Administration, or a related field (a Project Management Professional (PMP)

A minimum of five years relevant experience in the financial industry. Experience in a supervisory/management position is an advantage.

Soft skills
Good written and verbal communication skills in Dutch and English is a must.
Strong attention to details and technicalities and excellent organizational skills.
Good interpersonal and multi-tasking skills. Able to work proactively and independent, but also a good team player.
