Who You Are

The Business Development Director is responsible for driving Verve DSP’s growth strategy in the Benelux region. We are looking for an ambitious and experienced B2B professional with a proven track record of building relationships with key decision-makers and securing long-term contracts. With your strategic mindset and in-depth knowledge of the digital marketing industry, you will identify new business opportunities and develop sales propositions to meet the needs of our clients. Your strong project management skills and understanding of programmatic advertising will enable you to coordinate and optimize collaboration with other teams, delivering a stable and growing business for the company.

Preferably Hybrid option in Amsterdam, or Remote in the Netherlands

What You Will Do

  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential clients in the Benelux region

  • Identify new business opportunities and trends in the market, and respond accordingly

  • Develop a tactical and strategic overview of the focus market and document this in a sales plan

  • Create and deliver persuasive presentations and proposals to key decision-makers

  • Provide periodic commercial and financial reporting to management on activities in the Benelux region

  • Advise management on further development of activities in the Benelux region and relevant entities in other countries

  • Be commercially responsible for revenue growth in the Benelux region

  • Schedule appointments with influencers and decision-makers to increase revenue and market position

  • Actively leverage your network to build relationships at all levels with existing and potential clients, based on their needs and the services that Verve DSP can offer

  • Monitor and track market trends and developments to gather strategic market information

  • Negotiate contracts that optimize customer satisfaction while aligning with the company’s objectives and core business

What You Will Bring

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in digital marketing, in a B2B environment, with a focus on business development

  • Programmatic experience is highly desired

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Dutch and English are a must

  • A strong network in the relevant market segment in the Benelux region

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field is preferred

  • A proven track record of growing new businesses and upselling clients

  • Strong project management skills

  • Proactive, problem-solving attitude and focus on looking after clients

  • Awareness of the trends and developments in the field of digital and offline marketing

  • Team player with a strong sense of responsibility and ownership
